Jaguar Land Rover is set to roll out several new showrooms nationwide over the next 12 months, and the opening of a new facility in Airside, Swords in Dublin by the Joe Duffy Group heralds the beginning of that process.
The launch took place on March 30th, and featured a 300-strong crowd of customers, VIPs and enthusiasts. The ceremonies throughout the evening centred on a sporting theme, with RTE Sport's Darragh Maloney acting as MC. Dublin GAA manager Jim Gavin and Irish rugby stalwart Shane Byrne were also in attendance, and the Après Match duo Gary Cooke and Barry Murphy ensured plenty of laughs.
The new showroom design was conceived with the help of Taylor Design Architects, and features a Barista coffee bar in the lounge-style waiting area. Six Jaguars and six Land Rovers are on display, while there are now more parking spaces outside the building. The buying experience is enhanced with the addition of a new handover bay, and the colour and trim section has also been revamped. All showrooms within the dealer network will receive similar treatment, and all will be dual-brand Jaguar Land Rover facilities.
Gavin Hydes, Managing Director at Joe Duffy Group, said: "This €8.5m investment is another essential step in our growth plans for Joe Duffy Jaguar Land Rover. It further demonstrates our commitment to Jaguar Land Rover, their confidence in us and our strategy to provide first class facilities for our Jaguar and Land Rover customers. We are very proud to represent Jaguar Land Rover and fundamental to our ambition and drive is our people. I am exceptionally proud to work with such a driven and committed Jaguar Land Rover team and look forward with great enthusiasm to providing a first-class service to our new and existing customers."
