Swedish car design firm Vizualtech has confirmed it will build a very limited run of its Growler, inspired by the legendary Jaguar E-type. Its current plans are that only a few of these super rare ‘cat copies’ will be produced. The increasingly common modernised classic styling (see Mini Cooper, Fiat 500, Ford GT et al) will be coupled with the heart of the existing Jaguar XKR.....
The Bertone Jaguar B99 is one of the stars of the 2011 Geneva motor show. Designed as a concept for a compact Jag (at 4.5m long it’s comparable with a BMW 3-series), it boasts a pretty muscular body, one which combines the looks of a classic XJ saloon with more futuristic influences, such as the lights which echo front and rear (dark red car, right).....
The Jaguar E-Type turns 50 this year, and we continue to pine for its classic lines to this day. Bo Zolland, a car designer from Sweden, is clearly also a fan of the iconic E-Type shape. Unlike most of us, though, he has the tools and skill to generate a vision of what the E-Type might look like were it to come back to life in the 21st century.....
Jaguar has turned up the power and sharpened the handling on the flagship XKR coupe for the 2011 Geneva motor show.
Jaguar testers have just been caught running around the British countryside with a pair of camouflaged XK coupes. One looks to be the upcoming facelifted XKR, while the other appears to be a mysterious – and as-yet unnamed – more powerful XKR variant.....
Jaguar unveiled the C-X75 Concept car at the 2010 Paris Auto Show to show everyone that they had plenty of potential left to uncover as an automaker. And, although the concept was a huge success and served its purpose, Jaguar still needed to prove that this potential prevailed in more than just a design study.....
The next generation Jaguar XK will be unveiled in 2014, but until then the company will bring a last facelift version in 2012. There will be updates for both exterior and the interior, but it also very possible to see a new V6 engine and a new transmission.....
